  • butter, softened - 1/2 c
  • sugar - 3/4 c
  • eggs - 2 item
  • unsweetened chocolate, melted - 2 oz
  • chocolate pie crust - 1 item
  • Cool Whip 2 - 4 oz

How to make chocolate mousse pie:

Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add chocolate and mix well. Add eggs and beat for 5 minutes on high speed. Fold in 4 ounces of Cool Whip and pour into crust. Spread additional 4 ounces of Cool Whip on top and sprinkle with toasted almonds or crushed Heath bars if desired.
