Chocolate mayonnaise cake
Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- vanilla
- water
- cocoa - 1/3 c
- baking powder
- baking soda
- unsifted flour - 3 c
- mayonnaise
How to make chocolate mayonnaise cake:
Grease two 9 x 1 1/2-inch layer pans. Spray bottom and sides with pan coating (i.e. Pam). Sift together dry ingredients into large bowl. Stir in mayonnaise. Gradually stir in water and vanilla until smooth and blended. Pour into prepared pans.Bake at 350° for about 30 minutes or until cake springs back when touched. Cool. Remove from pans.
Ice with buttercream frosting, German chocolate frosting or chocolate frosting.
