Melt-in-your-mouth cookies
Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- butter or margarine - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- sifted flour - 3/4 c
- light brown sugar, packed - 1 c
- finely chopped nuts - 1/2 c
How to make melt-in-your-mouth cookies:
Cream butter. Add sugar, vanilla and egg. Beat until light. Add sifted dry ingredients and nuts. Drop by scant teaspoonfuls onto cookie sheets. Bake in 400° oven about 5 minutes. Cool slightly (1/2 minute). Remove to wire rack.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cookie and brownie, Hand Formed cookies.
