  • semi-sweet chocolate - 1/4 lb
  • milk chocolate - 1/2 lb
  • strawberries stems attached - 20 item

How to make chocolate dipped strawberries:

Melt the chocolate in the top pan of a double boiler over hot, not boiling, water. When chocolate is melted, add 1 tablespoon of hot water and stir thoroughly. Dip each strawberry in the chocolate 2/3 of the way towards the stem. Place the berries on a wax paper-lined cookie sheet to cool. Serves 4.

Note: The chocolate cools faster if the berries are placed in the freezer for 3 minutes before dipping.
