Ingredients/Components

  • vanilla - 1/2 tsp
  • granulated sugar - 2/3 c
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • egg yolks - 4 item
  • baking powder - 1/4 tsp
  • sifted flour - 5 Tbsp
  • whipped cream - 1 item
  • egg whites, beaten - 1 item
  • bitter chocolate, melted - 2 sq

How to make chocolate cream roll:

Beat until thick the egg yolks, sugar, chocolate, flour, baking powder and salt. Fold in egg whites and vanilla. Bake in a 10 x 15-inch pan, greased with waxed paper 10 to 15 minutes at 400°. When it comes out of the oven, place on a towel with powdered sugar spread on it. Cut the ends. When cool, spread whipped cream over and roll. Place in refrigerator.
