- granulated sugar - 1 c
- plain flour - 1/4 c
- Crisco - 1 c
- box Duncan Hines cake mix chocolate - 1 item
- Filling:1 c
- stick butter whipped - 1 item
How to make chocolate cream cake:
Prepare cake mix as for pound cake recipe on back of box in 3 round layers and cool.Filling:1 c. milk1/4 c. plain flour1 c. granulated sugar1 stick butter (whipped)1 c. Crisco1 tsp. vanilla Cook on low heat milk and flour, stirring constantly until thicken; set aside to cool. Cream together sugar, Crisco, vanilla and butter. Add cooled mixture, beat until fluffy, like whipped cream. Put between layers. Ice with Betty Crocker chocolate frosting.Recipe categories: Desserts, Chocolate, Cakes.
