Ingredients/Components
- granulated sugar - 1 c
- pkg - 1 oz
- vanilla extract - 1 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1 c
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- all-purpose flour - 3 c
- brown sugar, packed - 1 c
- Wisconsin butter, softened
- farm fresh eggs - 2 item
How to make chocolate chip cookies:
Preheat oven to 375°. Sift together flour, baking soda and salt. Set aside. Thoroughly mix butter, sugars, eggs and vanilla extract. Stir in dry ingredients. (For a softer, rounder cookie, add 1/2 cup more flour.) Add nuts and chocolate pieces. Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls 2-inches apart onto an ungreased baking sheet. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until light brown. Serve with a glass of good Wisconsin dairy milk to the "hurrahs" of everyone.Recipe categories: Desserts, Drop cookies, Cookie and brownie.
