Chocolate chip cookies

Ingredients/Components

• vanilla - 1 tsp
• granulated sugar - 1/2 c
• pkg - 1 oz
• salt - 1/2 tsp
• chopped nuts - 1/2 c
• flour
• soda - 1/2 tsp
• egg - 1 item
• brown sugar, packed - 1/2 c
• Crisco butter shortening - 2/3 c

How to make chocolate chip cookies:

Double everything.

Heat oven to 375°. Mix shortening, sugar, egg and vanilla. Mix flour, soda and salt; blend in thoroughly. Add nuts and chocolate pieces.

Drop by teaspoon on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8 to 10 minutes, or until delicately browned. Cool slightly before removing. Enjoy!!!
