  • eggs - 4 item
  • vanilla - 2 tsp
  • salt - 2 tsp
  • brown sugar
  • semi-sweet chocolate chips - 1 pkg
  • baking soda - 2 tsp
  • shortening - 2 c
  • all-purpose flour
  • white sugar

How to make chocolate chip cookies:

In mixing bowl combine flour, soda and salt. In another bowl, cream shortening, sugars and vanilla. Add eggs and beat after each. Gradually beat in dry ingredients and stir in chocolate chips. Drop by rounded spoonfuls on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake in preheated oven at 375° for 12 to 15 minutes.
