Frozen lemon pie
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2/3 c
- salt - 1/8 tsp
- egg yolks - 3 item
- melted butter - 1/4 c
- lemon juice - 1/4 c
- grated lemon rind - 1 Tbsp
- crushed cornflakes
- whipped cream or Cool Whip - 1 c
- stiff egg whites - 3 item
How to make frozen lemon pie:
Mix flakes with butter; press 1 cup of mix in bottom of pie pan.Combine sugar, salt, yolks, lemon peel and juice. Cook until thick. Chill. Fold in beaten egg whites. Fold in whipped cream. Place in pie pan and top with rest of crumbs. Freeze until firm.
