Ingredients/Components
- can Eagle Brand milk - 1 item
- ReaLemon juice - 1/2 c
- eggs, separated - 2 item
- box vanilla wafers - 1 item
- pinch of soda - 1 item
- sugar - 1/3 c
How to make lemon pie:
Crust: Beat vanilla wafers up (in blender) to fine crumbs and pour into pie dish. Line sides of dish with vanilla wafers (whole).Mix milk and egg yolks well; add lemon juice. Stir until firm. Pour into pie shell; top with meringue.
Meringue: Put pinch of soda in egg whites and beat until stiff. Gradually add 1/3 cup sugar. Spread over pie mixture. Bake at 325° until lightly brown.
