  • sugar - 6 Tbsp
  • vanilla - 1/2 tsp
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • brown sugar - 6 Tbsp
  • soda - 1/2 tsp
  • chocolate chips - 1/2 c
  • egg - 1 item
  • plus 2 Tbsp - 1 c
  • butter flavor Crisco - 1/2 c

How to make chocolate chip cookies:

Preheat oven to 375°. Cream Crisco, sugars, egg and vanilla in large bowl. Combine flour, salt and soda. Blend into creamed mixture. Stir in chocolate chips. Drop by level measuring tablespoons onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 375° for 8 minutes. Cool on baking sheets about 1 minute. Then place cookies on wire rack to finish cooling.
