Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 6 Tbsp
  • vanilla - 1/2 tsp
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • brown sugar - 6 Tbsp
  • butter - 1/2 c
  • water - 1/4 tsp
  • soda - 1/2 tsp
  • chocolate chips - 1 item
  • egg - 1 item
  • nuts - 1/2 c
  • plus 2 Tbsp - 1 c

How to make marble squares:

Sift together flour, salt and soda and set aside. Mix remainder of ingredients together, then add flour mixture. Stir in 1/2 cup nuts. Spread in greased pan. Sprinkle chocolate chips over mixture and press in. Bake at 375° for 12 to 14 minutes.
