  • butter - 1/4 lb
  • sugar - 1 c
  • eggs - 2 item
  • sour cream - 1 c
  • baking powder
  • baking soda - 1 tsp
  • chocolate chips - 1 c
  • cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • flour - 2 c

How to make chocolate chip cake:

Cream butter, 1 cup of sugar and eggs. Add sour cream and vanilla. Sift flour, baking powder and baking soda. Add dry ingredients to butter mixture and beat. Pour half of this mixture into a greased 13 x 9-inch pan.

In a separate bowl, mix 1/2 cup of sugar, cinnamon and chocolate chips. Spoon half of this mixture over the top of the batter, then rest of batter and the remaining chocolate chip mixture. Bake for 25 minutes at 350° or until toothpick comes out clean. Serve from cake pan.
