Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 6 Tbsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- water - 1 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- cocoa - 4 Tbsp
- buttermilk - 1 c
- stick butter - 1 item
- plain flour - 2 c
- pecans - 1/2 c
- eggs, well beaten - 2 item
- box powdered sugar - 1 item
- Combine remaining ingredients in mixing bowl
How to make chocolate cake:
Bring water, cocoa and butter to a boil in saucepan. Combine remaining ingredients in mixing bowl. Pour boiled mixture over combined mixture and mix well. Bake in sheet pan for 20 minutes at 400°. When baked, ice with frosting.Frosting:4 Tbsp. cocoa6 Tbsp. milk1 stick butter1 box powdered sugar1 tsp. vanilla1/2 c. pecans Bring cocoa, milk and butter to a boil.
