sugar - 2 c
vanilla - 1 tsp
milk - 6 Tbsp
salt - 1 tsp
water - 1 c
soda - 1 tsp
cocoa - 4 Tbsp
buttermilk - 1 c
stick butter - 1 item
plain flour - 2 c
pecans - 1/2 c
eggs, well beaten - 2 item
box powdered sugar - 1 item
Combine remaining ingredients in mixing bowl

How to make chocolate cake:

Bring water, cocoa and butter to a boil in saucepan. Combine remaining ingredients in mixing bowl. Pour boiled mixture over combined mixture and mix well. Bake in sheet pan for 20 minutes at 400°. When baked, ice with frosting.Frosting:4 Tbsp. cocoa6 Tbsp. milk1 stick butter1 box powdered sugar1 tsp. vanilla1/2 c. pecans Bring cocoa, milk and butter to a boil. Add sugar, vanilla and pecans.
