- sugar - 1 c
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 1/2 c
- butter or margarine - 1/2 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- boiling water - 1 c
- brown sugar, packed - 1 c
- baking cocoa - 1/3 c
How to make chocolate cake:
In large mixing bowl, cream butter and sugars. Add eggs, milk and vanilla; beat well. Combine flour, cocoa, salt, baking powder and soda; add to creamed mixture and mix well until smooth. Add water (batter will be thin). Pour into greased and floured 13 x 9 x 2 pan. Bake at 350° for 35 to 40 minutes.Recipe categories: Desserts, Chocolate, Cakes.
