Chicken tortellini soup
Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 9 oz
- water - 6 c
- grated Parmesan cheese - 1 item
- chopped onion - 1 c
- basil leaves - 1/2 tsp
- garlic cloves, minced - 2 item
- sliced carrots - 1 c
- cooked, cubed chicken - 2 c
- can condensed cream of chicken soup - 1 3/4
- cans condensed chicken broth - 3 3/4
- oregano leaves - 1/2 tsp
- water or dry vermouth - 1/2 c
How to make chicken tortellini soup:
In a large saucepan, combine water, chicken broth, soup, chicken, onion, carrots, vermouth, garlic, basil and oregano. Bring to a boil. Add tortellini. Simmer, uncovered, 30 minutes. Add broccoli and simmer 5 to 10 minutes or until broccoli is tender. Serve with cheese. Makes 10 (1 1/2 cup) servings.Recipe categories: Soups & stews, Main dish, One Dish meal.
