Chicken minestrone
Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- water - 1 qt
- dried whole oregano - 1/2 tsp
- medium zucchini squash, sliced - 2 item
- fresh mushrooms, sliced - 1 lb
- dried whole basil - 1/2 tsp
- chicken flavored bouillon granules - 2 tsp
- cubed, cooked chicken breast - 2 c
- spaghetti, broken - 3 oz
- can tomatoes, undrained and chopped - 1 oz
How to make chicken minestrone:
Combine first 6 ingredients in a Dutch oven. Bring to a boil; cover. Reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes. Add mushrooms, chicken, zucchini squash and tomatoes. Cover; reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes or until tender. Yield: 9 cups (136 calories per 1 cup serving).Recipe categories: Soups & stews, Chicken, Pasta.
