Chicken in wine sauce
Ingredients/Components
- flour - 1/4 c
- lemon juice - 1 tsp
- olive oil - 1/4 c
- mushrooms - 1/2 lb
- white cooking wine
- diced onions - 1 c
- chicken, cut in eighths - 3 lb
- can tomatoes, drained and cut - 1 lb
- each: pepper, basil and oregano - 1/8 tsp
How to make chicken in wine sauce:
Coat chicken with flour. Brown in olive oil. Saute onion until golden. Add mushrooms. Cook 2 minutes. Add wine. Cook 10 minutes. Add all others including chicken. Cover; simmer for 30 minutes.Recipe categories: Chicken, Poultry, Meat.
