Chicken in sour cream
Ingredients/Components
- sour cream - 1 c
- can cream of mushroom soup - 1 item
- boneless chicken breasts - 4 item
- paprika optional - 1 item
- soup can sherry - 1/2 item
- can mushrooms, sliced or fresh - 1 oz
How to make chicken in sour cream:
Easy - do ahead. Bake at 350° for 2 hours.Arrange chicken in shallow baking dish so that the 4 pieces (2 full breasts) do not overlap. Cover with mushrooms, drained. Combine mushroom soup, sherry and sour cream. Stir until well blended. Pour over chicken, completely covering it. Dust with paprika (optional). Cover and bake at 350° for 2 hours. Remove cover last 15 minutes. Serves 4.
