  • chicken breasts - 2 lb
  • flour - 1 item
  • can mushrooms - 3 oz
  • paprika - 1 tsp
  • sour cream - 1 c
  • onion soup mix - 1 pkg
  • water - 1 c

How to make chicken casserole:

Cube the meat from raw chicken breasts. Roll in flour. Heat 2 tablespoons shortening in skillet and brown meat well on all sides. Add mushrooms (drained). Remove from heat. Add paprika and blend. Combine onion soup, sour cream and water. Pour over meat. Pour into casserole; cover and refrigerate for several hours or overnight. Bake at 375° for 45 minutes. Serve over cooked rice or noodles. Serves 6.
