Ingredients/Components
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- chopped celery - 1/2 c
- cooked chicken - 3 c
- can cream of mushroom soup - 1 oz
- small can evaporated milk - 1 item
- can cream of celery soup - 1 oz
- slivered almonds - 1 item
- Pepperidge Farm herb seasoned bread crumbs - 4 oz
How to make chicken casserole:
Saute onion and celery in 2 tablespoons butter. Add soups and milk. Mix well. Add chicken and turn into a casserole dish. Saute almonds in 1/2 cup butter. Add crumbs and mix well. Sprinkle on top of chicken. Bake at 350° for 1 hour.Recipe categories: Main dish, Casseroles, Chicken breast.
