Ingredients/Components

  • butter - 2 Tbsp
  • chopped onion - 1/2 c
  • chopped celery - 1/2 c
  • cooked chicken - 3 c
  • can cream of mushroom soup - 1 oz
  • small can evaporated milk - 1 item
  • can cream of celery soup - 1 oz
  • slivered almonds - 1 item
  • Pepperidge Farm herb seasoned bread crumbs - 4 oz

How to make chicken casserole:

Saute onion and celery in 2 tablespoons butter. Add soups and milk. Mix well. Add chicken and turn into a casserole dish. Saute almonds in 1/2 cup butter. Add crumbs and mix well. Sprinkle on top of chicken. Bake at 350° for 1 hour.
