Chicken broccoli casserole
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 3/4 c
- margarine - 1/2 c
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
- shredded Cheddar cheese - 1 c
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- Minute rice - 1 c
- medium onion, finely chopped - 1 item
- cubed cooked chicken
- box frozen broccoli, thawed - 1 oz
How to make chicken broccoli casserole:
In a medium saucepan over low heat, place soup, milk, margarine and 1/2 cup of cheese. Cook, stirring constantly, until cheese melts. Preheat oven to 350°.In a greased 2-quart ovenproof dish, combine rice, chicken, broccoli, onion, salt and pepper. Pour ingredients from saucepan into baking dish; mix well. Bake 30 minutes. Top with remaining cheese and let melt.
