Ingredients/Components
- asparagus - 2 c
- soft bread crumbs - 4 c
- milk - 3 c
- melted oleo - 1/2 c
- pepper - 3 tsp
- chopped chicken - 2 c
- grated cheese - 1 c
- flour - 1/2 c
- salt - 2 tsp
How to make chicken asparagus casserole:
Mix bread crumbs with cheese and 1/4 cup oleo. Line buttered dish with 1/2 the crumbs. Place asparagus on top of the crumbs. Blend flour, salt, pepper, remainder of butter with milk and cook until thickened. Add chicken and pour over asparagus. Sprinkle with remaining crumbs.
