Ingredients/Components
- lemon juice - 2 tsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 4 tsp
- garlic salt - 1/4 tsp
- onion salt - 1/4 tsp
- margarine, melted - 3 Tbsp
- pretzels - 1 c
- mixed nuts - 1 c
- assorted Chex cereals - 7 c
How to make chex mix:
Combine cereals, nuts and pretzels in 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan. Set aside. Stir together margarine, garlic salt, onion salt, lemon juice and Worcestershire sauce; gently stir mixture over cereal, nuts and pretzels until well coated. Bake at 250° for about 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes. Spread on paper towels to cool. Store in airtight container. Yields 9 cups.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Snacks, Grains.
