Ingredients/Components

  • eggs - 2 item
  • stick margarine - 1 item
  • egg - 1 item
  • large cream cheese - 1 item
  • box xxxx sugar - 1 item
  • size - 1 box

How to make chess squares:

Mix cake mix, margarine and 1 egg and press lightly in 9 x 13-inch pan. Mix cream cheese and xxx sugar plus 2 eggs. Pour over first mixture and bake 30 to 35 minutes at 400°.

Use any flavor cake mix. Add nuts or chocolate chips to topping; any combination is good.
