- sugar
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 1/2 c
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- butter - 1/2 c
- cornmeal - 1 Tbsp
- juice of 1/2 lemon
- 9-inch unbaked pie shell - 1 item
How to make chess pie:
Preheat oven to 450°. Cream together butter, sugar, cornmeal and flour. Add eggs, vanilla, lemon juice and milk. Pour into pie shell. Bake at 450° for 10 minutes. Bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
