Ingredients/Components

  • sugar
  • eggs - 2 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • milk - 1/2 c
  • flour - 2 Tbsp
  • butter - 1/2 c
  • cornmeal - 1 Tbsp
  • juice of 1/2 lemon
  • 9-inch unbaked pie shell - 1 item

How to make chess pie:

Preheat oven to 450°. Cream together butter, sugar, cornmeal and flour. Add eggs, vanilla, lemon juice and milk. Pour into pie shell. Bake at 450° for 10 minutes. Bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes.
