Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 1/2 c
  • eggs - 2 item
  • pkg - 1 oz
  • butter - 1/3 c
  • can cherry pie filling - 1 item
  • graham crackers - 16 item
  • sugar I prefer 1/3 c - 1/2 c

How to make cherry torte:

Crush crackers; add melted butter and sugar. Put in baking dish or pie pan; press firmly. Beat soft cream cheese with mixer. Add 1/2 cup sugar gradually. Then add eggs and beat at high speed until smooth. Pour over cracker crust. Bake at 325° for 25 minutes. Remove and cool. When cool, add pie filling. Chill 3 hours or overnight.
