Ingredients/Components

  • graham cracker crumbs
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • chopped pecans - 1 c
  • pkg - 1 oz
  • milk - 2 Tbsp
  • stick margarine - 1 item
  • confectioners sugar - 1 c
  • can cherry pie filling - 1 item
  • whipping cream - 1/2 pt

How to make cherry pie:

Combine crumbs and margarine. Press into bottom of oblong baking dish. Bake 15 minutes at 325°. Chill. Cream together the cheese, milk and sugar. Spread on crust. Sprinkle layer of nuts over cheese. Whip the cream stiffly and add 1 teaspoon vanilla. Spread over nuts in a layer. Chill 2 to 3 hours. Spread all of the cherry pie filling over the cream. Let chill overnight. Cut into squares and lift out with spatula.
