- can cherry pie filling - 1 item
- lemon juice - 1 tsp
- Duncan Hines white deluxe cake mix - 1 pkg
- chopped nuts - 1/2 c
- 1 stick melted butter or margarine - 1/2 c
- sweetened whipped cream or ice cream - 1 item
How to make cherry crunch:
Preheat oven to 350°. Spread pie filling in bottom of a 9-inch square pan. Sprinkle with lemon juice. Combine dry cake mix, nuts and melted butter (mixture will be crumbly). Sprinkle over pie filling. Bake at 350° for 40 to 50 minutes until golden brown. Serve with ice cream, whipped cream.Recipe categories: Desserts, Fruit, American.
