Cherry crisp
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- butter - 1/4 c
- quick cooking rolled oats - 1/2 c
- brown sugar, packed - 1/2 c
- broken pecans, lightly floured - 1/2 c
- enriched flour - 1/2 c
- 303 can water packed red cherries
How to make cherry crisp:
Heat cherries and sugar together. Add a few drops of red food coloring. Pour into 10 x 6 x 1 1/2-inch baking dish. Combine oats, brown sugar, flour and salt; cut in butter. Add pecans. Sprinkle mixture over cherries. Bake in moderate oven at 350° for 35 minutes. Serve with whipped cream and ice cream.Recipe categories: Desserts, Low protein, Cobblers and crisps.
