  • milk - 1/2 c
  • sour cream - 1 pt
  • shredded Cheddar cheese - 2 c
  • cream of chicken soup - 1 c
  • + 2 Tbsp - 1/2 c
  • hash brown potatoes - 32 oz
  • crushed cornflake crumbs - 1 c

How to make cheesy potato casserole:

Melt 1/2 cup butter and fill bottom of 9 x 13-inch baking dish. Add half of potatoes. Combine soup, sour cream and milk; pour half of mixture over potatoes. Layer 1 cup cheese. Top with remainder of potatoes and soup mixture. Top with 1 cup cheese and cornflake crumbs. Add 2 tablespoons melted butter. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.
