Cheesy ham and potato casserole
Ingredients/Components
- milk
- salt - 1 tsp
- all-purpose flour - 1/4 c
- oleo, melted - 1/4 c
- 8 oz - 2 c
- dry mustard - 1/2 tsp
- chopped onion - 2 Tbsp
- dash of pepper - 1 item
- cooked, cubed ham 1/2 lb - 2 c
- boiled, cubed potatoes - 6 c
How to make cheesy ham and potato casserole:
Saute onion in oleo in a large saucepan until tender. Add flour and seasonings. Cook 1 minute, stirring constantly. Gradually add milk; cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened. Add 1 1/2 cups cheese, stirring until cheese melts. Add ham and potatoes. Spoon into a greased 2-quart, shallow baking dish. Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 25 minutes.
