Ingredients/Components

  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • pepper - 1/2 tsp
  • sesame seed - 1/4 c
  • grated Parmesan - 1 item
  • chopped parsley - 1 Tbsp
  • cayenne pepper - 1/4 tsp
  • 1 stick butter or margarine, melted - 1/2 c
  • chicken breasts, split, skinned and boned - 3 item
  • finely crushed cheese crackers - 1 c
  • cheese for topping, optional - 1 item

How to make cheesy baked chicken:

Preheat oven to 350°. In a large shallow bowl, combine the cracker crumbs, sesame seed, parsley, salt, pepper and cayenne pepper. Dip chicken in melted butter, then dip in cracker crumb mixture. Place chicken in a baking pan that has been coated with nonstick spray and bake for about 30 minutes until chicken is golden and no pink remains.
