Ingredients/Components

  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • boiling water - 3/4 c
  • white sugar - 1 c
  • softened cream cheese - 8 oz
  • lemon jello - 1 pkg
  • square graham crackers - 20 item
  • melted margarine and brown sugar - 1/4 c
  • can cold evaporated milk - 1 item

How to make cheese cake:

Crush graham crackers. Mix with melted margarine and brown sugar. Divide this mixture into 2 equal parts. Put half of the crumbs into the bottom of a 9 x 9 x 3-inch dish. Reserve the rest. Dissolve jello in boiling water. Add cream cheese. In another bowl, whip cold evaporated milk until thick with electric mixer. Gradually add white sugar and vanilla. Add the jello mixture and beat well. Pour the jello mixture onto crumbs. Add the remaining crumbs on top of the jello mixture. Refrigerate.
