  • flour - 2 c
  • baking soda - 2 tsp
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • eggs - 4 item
  • sugar - 2 c
  • cinnamon - 2 tsp
  • oil - 1 c
  • grated carrots - 3 c
  • Add oil; mix very well with mixer
  • butter - 1/4 lb
  • powdered sugar - 4 c
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • pkg - 3 oz

How to make carrot cake:

Mix dry ingredients together. Add oil; mix very well with mixer. Add eggs 1 at a time. Beat thoroughly after each egg. Bake 35 to 45 minutes at 350°. Bake in 2 (9-inch) square pans.Carrot Cake Frosting:1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese1/4 lb. butter4 c. powdered sugar1 tsp. vanilla3 oz. pkg. walnuts Mix and spread over the cake.
