Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 2 c
  • cinnamon - 2 tsp
  • eggs - 4 item
  • vanilla - 1/2 tsp
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • flour
  • brown sugar - 1 c
  • oil
  • soda - 1 tsp
  • grated carrots - 4 c
  • baking powder - 1 tsp
  • nuts
  • cream or milk - 1/4 c
  • Topping:1 stick oleo
  • coconut and nuts, mixed

How to make carrot cake:

Mix together and bake at 325° for 1 hour.Topping:1 stick oleo1/4 c. cream or milk1 1/2 c. coconut and nuts, mixed1 c. brown sugar1/2 tsp. vanilla Place on top of cake and place under broiler until golden brown.
