Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- cinnamon - 2 tsp
- cream cheese
- eggs - 4 item
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- stick margarine - 1 item
- soda - 2 tsp
- grated carrots - 3 c
- sticks margarine - 2 item
- plain flour - 2 c
- box confectioners sugar - 1 item
- pecans - 1 c
How to make carrot cake:
Frosting:8 oz. cream cheese1 box confectioners sugar1 stick margarine2 tsp. vanilla1 c. pecans Cream margarine and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time. Blend dry ingredients and add to margarine, eggs and sugar mixture. Add carrots last. Pour into 3 well-greased cake pans. Bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes.Frosting: Mix all ingredients and beat until smooth. Add pecans. Spread on cooled layers.
