Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- cinnamon - 2 tsp
- eggs - 4 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1 c
- flour - 2 c
- oil - 1/2 c
- soda - 2 tsp
- grated carrots - 3 c
- powdered sugar - 2 c
- cream cheese, softened - 1 (8
- Beat in eggs
How to make carrot cake:
Mix oil and sugar. Beat in eggs. Sift dry ingredients and add along with carrots. Stir well. Bake in greased 9 x 13-inch pan at 350° for 50 minutes until toothpick comes out clean.When cool, frost with cream cheese frosting.Cream Cheese Frosting:1 stick softened margarine1 (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened1 tsp. vanilla2 c. powdered sugar Mix well.
