  • sugar - 2 c
  • cinnamon - 3 tsp
  • eggs - 4 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • soda - 2 tsp
  • stick butter - 1 item
  • plain flour - 2 c
  • pecans - 1 c
  • carrots, grated - 3 c
  • Wesson oil
  • box 10x sugar - 1 item
  • Beat until creamy the sugar and Wesson oil

How to make carrot cake:

Sift together flour, cinnamon, soda and salt and set aside. Beat until creamy the sugar and Wesson oil. Add eggs, one at a time, until smooth. Then add dry ingredients. Then add carrots. Bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes. Makes 3 layers.Icing:1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese1 stick butter1 tsp. vanilla1 box 10x sugar1 c. pecans
