Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- chopped nuts - 1 c
- butter - 1 c
- corn syrup
- cream - 2 c
How to make caramels:
Boil all together except the nuts and 1 cup cream. Boil 30 minutes. Add second cup of cream. Boil to a firm ball stage (248°). Add nuts. Pour without stirring into well buttered pan. When cool, cut into squares.Recipe categories: Desserts, Candy, American.
