Caramel crunch apple pie
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/3 c
- cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1/2 c
- flour - 3/4 c
- butter - 1/3 c
- water - 2 Tbsp
- tart apples, sliced - 6 c
- 9-inch pie crust, unbaked - 1 item
- caramels, unwrapped and sliced - 28 item
How to make caramel crunch apple pie:
Slice apples and set aside. Melt caramels in water and layer apples with caramel sauce alternately in pie shell. Combine cinnamon, nuts, flour and sugar. Cut in butter until crumbly; sprinkle over apples. Bake at 375° for 40 to 45 minutes.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
