Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
- nutmeg - 1/4 tsp
- melted butter - 1/4 c
- maple syrup - 1 c
- to 7 medium cooked sweet potatoes, or 2 cans yams no juice - 6 item
How to make candied yams:
In 1 1/2 to 2-quart casserole dish, combine butter, syrup and spices. Add sweet potatoes and roll until coated with liquid. Bake uncovered at 325° for 35 minutes. If sweet potatoes start to brown, turn them over in the liquid. If necessary, cover to keep from burning. Serves 4 to 6.Recipe categories: Pineapple, Side dish, Casseroles.
