Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- ground beef - 1/2 lb
- black pepper - 1/2 tsp
- onion - 1 item
- chopped cabbage - 1/2 c
- tomatoes - 1 c
- raw rice - 1/2 c
- cabbage leaves - 1 item
How to make cabbage rolls:
Thoroughly mix all ingredients except cabbage leaves. Form mixture into balls the size of walnuts. Wrap cabbage leaves around balls and secure with toothpicks. Place rolls in Dutch oven; cover with water. Cook slowly for 45 minutes.Recipe categories: Main dish, Casseroles, Pork.
