Ingredients/Components
- half and half - 1 c
- granulated sugar - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/16 tsp
- flour - 1/4 c
- stick butter - 1/2 item
- light brown sugar - 1/2 c
- egg yolks, beaten - 3 item
- clear vanilla - 1 tsp
- Favorite Pralines - 1 item
- baked 9-inch crust - 1 item
How to make butterscotch pie:
Combine first seven ingredients and cook until thickened. Brown butter until golden brown and add to mixture. Put crumbled Favorite Pralines in bottom of baked pie crust and pour cooled filling over pralines. Cover filling with Superior Meringue and bake at 350° until meringue is brown, about 30 minutes.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
