Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 2 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- brown sugar - 1 c
- butter - 4 Tbsp
- egg yolks - 3 item
- flour scant - 6 Tbsp
- red syrup optional - 3 Tbsp
How to make butterscotch pie:
Put part of milk in double boiler; add a little extra white sugar and part of brown sugar to milk. Add flour and rest of sugar together; stir in remaining milk and beat in egg yolks, then add with butter into hot mixture.
