  • vanilla - 1/2 tsp
  • flour
  • brown sugar
  • butter - 1/2 c
  • soda - 1/2 Tbsp
  • eggs, beaten - 2 item
  • cream of tartar - 1/2 Tbsp

How to make butterscotch cookies:

Sift the dry ingredients together. Cream the butter and sugar. Add beaten eggs, vanilla and flour mixture. Shape into round loaf, wrap in waxed paper and chill overnight. Slice in thin slices. Bake at 425° for 8 minutes.
