Buttermilk coffee cake
Ingredients/Components
- white sugar - 1 c
- brown sugar - 3/4 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- sifted flour
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- buttermilk - 1 c
- Wesson oil - 3/4 c
- egg, beaten - 1 item
- chopped nuts - 1 c
How to make buttermilk coffee cake:
Use wooden spoon only to mix. Mix sugars and cinnamon. Reserve 3/4 cup for topping and nuts. Mix all ingredients well. Pour into a 9 x 13-inch greased pan. Add nuts to 3/4 cup topping; sprinkle over batter, cutting into mix with knife. Bake at 350° for 25 minutes.Recipe categories: Breads, American, Coffee cakes.
