  • powdered sugar - 1 lb
  • Crisco shortening - 1 c
  • white vanilla extract - 1 tsp
  • water cool - 3 4

How to make buttercream icing:

In mixer bowl, beat Crisco and water until creamy. Add vanilla and mix well. Slowly blend in sifted powdered sugar until all is added. Blend on high speed until all the sugar is moistened. Add teaspoon of water if you want a creamier consistency.
