Butter pecan cookies
Ingredients/Components
- flour - 2 c
- brown sugar - 2/3 c
- butter - 1 c
- egg yolk - 1 item
How to make butter pecan cookies:
Cream together butter and sugar. Beat in egg yolk. Add flour. Roll dough into balls; place on ungreased cookie sheet, 2 inches apart. Press with back of floured fork in one direction to flatten. Top each with pecan pieces. Bake at 375° for 9 to 10 minutes, until lightly browned around edges.
